David Moyes Leaves West Ham United
The End of an Era
David Moyes has left his role as manager of West Ham United at the end of the 2023/24 season. The Scot's second spell in charge of the Hammers comes to an end after three-and-a-half years.
Moyes' Legacy at West Ham United
Moyes was appointed as West Ham manager for the first time in November 2017, and he quickly turned around the club's fortunes. He guided the Hammers to safety from relegation in his first season, and then led them to a seventh-placed finish in the Premier League in 2018/19.
Moyes' greatest achievement with West Ham came in the 2020/21 season, when he led the club to their first major trophy in 42 years by winning the FA Cup. He also guided the Hammers to the Europa League semi-finals that season.
What's Next for Moyes?
Moyes is now a free agent, and it will be interesting to see where he ends up next. He has been linked with a number of jobs, including the vacant manager's position at Everton.
